The Elements of Mutual Aid - Chapter 1: Fire

Mutual aid is our spark of humanity that we must defend as those in power try to stomp it out. This chapter sets the series’ foundation: What is mutual aid, how is it different from charity, why is it at odds with those in power, and can it help sustain our resistance to oppression?

Mutual Aging: Working Together To Plan For The Inevitable

💡
When: Thursday, November 12th, 6-8pm
Where: Orange County Library, 137 W. Margaret Lane

In this workshop, we will de-mystify and de-stigmatize aging and death. We will discuss ways to plan for them at any stage of life and with any income - for yourself, your loved ones, and your community members. We will provide a general overview of topics like estate planning, housing, staying engaged, and end-of-life planning and then make space for everyone to share, ask questions, and learn more. We hope this will be the first in a series, with subsequent sessions digging deeper into topics of interest.
